BEST IN SHOW- FARBRAE GOOD TO GO
Thank you to MCLRC for the kind invitation to judge and to the exhibitors for such a lovely entry.
MINOR PUPPY DOG (7,3)
1. Lewis’ Crammondkirk Buckley. Black. 7 month old had remarkable ring presence stood fore square and 100% focused on the job in hand. Lovely baby head, nice reach of neck on to a level topline, good tail set, and moved with easy and still moved with ease at the end of the Day. BPIS.
2. Youngs’ Optimist Vision. Nice head, moved ok not in her best coat today.
3. Hopkinsons’ Centenalee Sail Away to Rocheby.
PUPPY DOG (6,3)
1. Hunchinson’s Glosmere Ragamuffin. Black. moved well in excellent double coat, overall, a good solid puppy.
2. Youngs’ Apollo Daydream. Yellow, not quite relaxed in the ring, but moved with purpose.
3. Smith’s Bruadarch Breanuth.
JUNIOR DOG (5,1)
1. Brown’s Farbrae Good To Go. Yellow, nice pleasing head, well placed shoulders, good spring of rib, good width over loin, with good tail set. Shown in good coat and moved well. BIS.
2. McLellans’ Saranden Shadeuxplay. Black, not as mature as winner but a dog with a good outline that moved with ease.
3. Baldwin’s Lancastrian Gus.
YEARLING DOG (5,1)
1. Reynolds’ Sh Ch Carromer Chippendale. Yellow, quality through and through, pleasant head, the best of fronts with correct length of leg. Good turn of stifle and moved with drive, a dog at one with his handler.
2. Percival’s Wynfaul Windrush. Different type to winner, but has a good outline, in good coat lovely topline, moved ok.
3. Hill’s Kimbajak Full Golden Monty of Waggador.
MAIDEN DOG (4,2)
1. Smith’s Flyenpyg Pie Eyed. Black, lovely out line with good ring presence and outline. Neck and topline good, moved with easy.
2. Baldwin’s Lancastria Gus. Chocolate, not totally relaxed in the ring and not in the best of coats. Moved ok.

UNDERGRADUATE DOG (1)
1. Lesley’s Steeleigh Love Machine. Black, giving his handler a difficult time due to his enthusiasm. Not easy to assess, but a nice head with good front and rear movement, just getting his coat back. Pleased to award him first.
POSTGRADUATE DOG (3)
1. Ayres’ Hannabee to Hull and Back with Musubi. Black, stood fore square (a leg in each corner). Nice broad head correct length of muzzle. Good lay of shoulder excellent double coat and otter tail. Moved ok.
2. Brown’s Ramsayville Revolver. Black, rushed into the ring from competing indoors, very similar attributes to winner, overall, a nicely developed dog.
3. Lesley’s Sleddarwood Sako Flyer over Steeleigh.
MID LIMIT DOG (5,2)
1. Dodd’s Carriegame Moonshine. Black, in the best of coats. nice head and expression, good front assembly again a dog that easily stood fore square every time. moved with drive.
2. Collins’ Ramsayville Right On Time For Kaspair. Yellow, shame he wasn’t in good coat, beautiful Labrador head, moved with ease.
3. Edwards’ Kimbajak Precious Metal JW.
OPEN DOG (6,4)
1. Tooth’s Sandylands Over the Moon to Ludalor. Yellow, kind head, good reach of neck, shoulders well placed showing a balance dog with good drive to his movement.
2. McLellan’s Saraden Pensacola. Chocolate, nice head and eye colour with correct pigment, good bone and angulation, in excellent coat, shame his mind was somewhere else on the day.
VETERAN DOG (1)
1. McCrory’s Sh Ch Millroseglen Make My Day With Meadowvillabs. Yellow, good lay of shoulder and spring of rib, in good coat, moved and showed well.
SPECIAL WORKING D/B (2,1)
1. Percival’s Wynfaul the Wizard JW. Black, well balanced, in good coat, never put a foot wrong, moved with drive.
MINOR PUPPY BITCH (9,3) This was a very good class of puppies and anyone of these could change places on another day.
1. Rowe’s Rochevale Fairytale. Yellow, nice head good front, topline good nice turn of stifle with excellent driving movment.
2. Flockton’s Dylsonleigh Valentina. Yellow, a lot to like about the puppy too, well put together but not quite the drive in her movement on the day.
3. McLellan’s Wynfaul Happy New Year For Saranden.
PUPPY BITCH (3,1)
1. Charlton’s Foxrush Tickled Pink. Yellow, typical head, just right for her age, showing nicely balance throughout. level topline good spring of rib and turn of stifle in excellent coat.
2. Braddon’s Trendlewood Shape of You. Very similar to winner, just not quite as mature.
JUNIOR BITCH (11,4)
1. Youngs’ Potterspiney Cazabe. Yellow, pleasant head, well constructed throughout, showing well, covered the ground with ease.
2. Dodd’s Carriegame Precious Jewel. Black, nice balanced bitch showed well, preferred head on winner.
3. McLellan’s Saranden The River.
YEARLING BITCH (3.2)
1. Parkes & Youngs’ Potterspiney Evies Dream. Yellow, alone but a worthy winner, not over done in anyway, lovely outline and in good coat.
MAIDEN BITCH (7,4)
1. Young’s Pottersipney Mystic Zuri. Black, lovely type, good width in front and behind. Good over loin with nice otter tail, moved well.
2. Braddon’s Trendlewood Shape of You. (As PB)
NOVICE BITCH (7,3)
1. Charlton’s Foxrush Tickled Pink. (As PB)
2. Tooth’s Ludalor Loquacious.Yellow, feminine head, clean neck and well placed shoulders, overall a nice bitch throughout.
3. Mclellan’s Wynfaul Resolution for Saranden.
UNDERGRADUATE BITCH (9,6)
1. Smith’s Rudidale Lucky Bug. Nice shaped head, good reach of neck, nice spring of rib, short coupled, covered the ground with ease.
2. Rowe’s Rocheby Mimosa at Rochevale. Good front with well placed shoulders, correct double coat, moved well.
3. Coddington’s Rocheby Silhouette to Genisval.
POSTGRADUATE BITCH (7,3)
1. Flockton’s Dylsonleigh Miss Muffett JW. Yellow, this girl is a real beauty, head balanced with strong neck. Broad and deep through chest. Short coupled with an excellent coat.
2. Collins’ Carromer Worth A Glance At Kaspair. Black, slightly smaller type than winner. Lovely head and angulations front and rear, moved ok.
3. Deane’s Abbeystead Glamour at Tanronens.
MID LIMIT BITCH (10,4)
1. Braddon’s Trendlewood Simply the Best. Yellow, pleasing head, strong neck, shoulders laid back, topline level good width over loin. Tail well covered. Good driving movement. Pleased to award her Reserve BIS.
2. Flockton’s Dylsonleigh Pretty In Pink. Nice yellow bitch. Well put together, splitting hairs between these two, preferred head on winner.
3. Neachell’s Suttonpark Consuela.
OPEN BITCH (1)
1. Rawlinson & Balshaws’ Halshimoor Perfect Pitch With Shanorrell. Yellow, feminine head, clean neck with good forechest. Strong over loin with good tail set which was well covered. Handled and moved well.
VETERAN BITCH (7,4)
1. Flockton’s Dylsonleigh Tickled Pink. Carrying a little too much weight for me. This did not interfere in any way to her movement, her turn of stifle and well-muscled hide quarters gave her a powerhouse driving movement remarkable for her age. Shown in good coat and a happy disposition. Pleased to award her BVIS.
2. Pattison’s Pattiland Shining Star. Nice head, deep in chest and level topline, tail strait off the back, moved ok.
3. Bysouth’s Alkhamhurst Mayfair at Luckswarren.
